The Therizinosaurus lived during the Upper Cretaceous period. It was an herbivorous creature and a genus of very large theropod dinosaurs who grew up to 33 feet in length. Its name means Scythe Lizard. The most distinctive feature of Therizinosaurus was the presence of gigantic claws on each of the three digits of their frontlimbs.
